Ring Warden
Catch the embers. Charge the blaze. Keep the shadow off your arc.
How to play
Steer
Move the mouse or drag a finger around the ring — the ward follows your angle. On a keyboard, hold the left and right arrows, or A and D.
Catch
Embers are points. Five in a row raises your combo, up to five times score.
Charge
Blue runes fill the blaze meter fast. At full, press Space for a flame nova that cashes in everything on the field.
Avoid
Shadow shards only hurt if your arc touches them. Slide away and let the seal swallow them.
How the difficulty builds
- 0:00 – 1:15, safe phase. Only embers and runes spawn. There is nothing on the field that can take a point of integrity, so a first round always lasts at least a minute and a quarter.
- 1:15, Ashstorm. Shadow shards start mixing into the fall. Your ward has five points of integrity and recovers one every fourteen seconds.
- 1:40, Emberstorm. Twin embers appear — they split in two halfway down, so one sweep of the arc no longer covers both.
- 2:05 onward. Cinderfall, then endless Infernal tiers: faster falls, tighter gaps, more shadow. The round ends when integrity runs out.
What this game is not
Not a gambling game
There is no wager, no chance-based payout, no currency and no prize. Score comes from where you put the arc. Nothing here can be won or lost except a number in your own browser.
Nothing to buy
No accounts, no sign-up, no in-game purchases, no premium tier. The whole game is the page you are on.
Intended for players 13 and over
Emberwatch is a general-audience arcade game and is not directed to children under 13. See the terms.
